THE GLASS HUMAN

as part of The City & The City: The Fool’s Garden and The Glass Human

The exhibition ‘ The Fool’s Garden and the Glass Himan’ is the content developed further from ‘ Mapping from Home’, but moved from the topic of home to the elements around it. Created art from curiosity by forming intangible human senses, such as wisdom, experience, pain, etc., into something visible, turned which flowing to stay still, packaged it, and sold it as if the merchandise in capitalism.

The concept of this exhibition is to accept the flaw of humans as laborers in capitalism, such as our ability to remember negative memory. When in every relationship, people are hurt and cause pain to each other unavoidably. After that, each memory will be brought up so many times as if it could be exchanged for something with the same value, such as the accusation of hurting the other back or compensation.

In this work, The Glass Human, I highlight my memories and pains from relationships in the past, from my families, friends, and lovers, to my country. I value and collect them while hoping to communicate them entirely and correctly.
